A weekly class open to everyone meeting continuously at the Wellfield Gardens, 1000 N. Main, Elkhart.
Sliding scale $4-$10. Held indoors at the administrative building across the street, or outside in the gardens, weather permitting.

* Please note that the start time for Barb’s Wednesday class has changed from 4:30 to 4:45 PM.  The studio will continue to open at 4:15 PM for those interested in coming early to enjoy quiet time in the practice room or to visit with others outside or in the foyer.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS: Classes will generally fit into these categorizations.

Gentle Yoga:

A class for those new to yoga or for those who prefer a more gentle yoga practice. Basic yoga postures (asanas) increase strength and flexibility and teach body alignment. The class teaches the benefits of the poses and a safe way to practice them. Yoga at this level is adaptable to all levels of fitness and abilities.

Open Level Yoga:

The class will be designed and adapted based upon the students in attendance that day. Students who are beginners, or who may be returning to yoga, or who are more experienced are all welcome.

Chair Yoga:

Offering a more supported yoga experience through the use of a chair as a prop. We will integrate basic yoga poses with alignment and breathwork. Students may remain seated on a chair, or add standing asanas with the assistance of a chair or wall. Individuals who have concerns about balance, getting up and down from the floor, have osteoporosis, etc. may find this meets their needs.

Yang Yoga:

A class offering a more active yoga practice with a focus on sun salutations and standing poses. It will integrate basic yoga poses with alignment and breathwork.

Payment Information
Classes may be attended on a drop in basis (pay as you go), or register for the four-week session and receive a discount. Class credit may be used any class during the current session. Please make checks payable to instructor.

One-hour classes ….. $10 per class
1.5 hour classes ……. $15 per class

By the session:

$36 for four 1 hour classes
$54 for four 1.5 hour classes
Note: The summer session is two separate four-week-long mini-sessions.
