Drop in/Make-up snow date week of March 21 same class schedule applies.
The spring session will begin the week of April 4 and continue for eight weeks, ending on May 26. Please note date changes for Wednesday and Thursday pm classes. The Saturday morning class at Wellfield Gardens will meet continuously.
Also, please take note of our new Thursday morning chair class, which is a class offering a more supported yoga experience through the use of a chair as a prop.  It will integrate basic yoga poses with alignment and breathwork.  Students may remain seated on a chair, or add standing asanas with the assistance of a chair or wall.  Individuals who have concerns about balance, getting up and down from the floor,  have osteoporosis, etc. may find this meets their needs.

A weekly class open to everyone meeting continuously at the Wellfield Gardens, 1000 N. Main, Elkhart.

Sliding scale $4-$10. Held indoors at the administrative building across the street, or outside in the gardens, weather permitting.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS: Classes will generally fit into these categorizations.

Gentle Yoga:

A class for those new to yoga or for those who prefer a more gentle yoga practice.  Basic yoga postures (asanas) increase strength and flexibility and teach body alignment.  The class teaches  the benefits of the poses and a safe way to practice them.  Yoga at this level is adaptable to all levels of fitness and abilities.

Open Level Yoga:

The class will be designed and adapted based upon the students in attendance that day.  Students who are beginners, or who may be returning to yoga, or who are more experienced are all welcome. 

Chair Yoga:

Offering a more supported yoga experience through the use of a chair as a prop.  We will integrate basic yoga poses with alignment and breathwork.  Students may remain seated on a chair, or add standing asanas with the assistance of a chair or wall.  Individuals who have concerns about balance, getting up and down from the floor,  have osteoporosis, etc. may find this meets their needs.

Payment Information

Classes may be attended on a drop in basis (pay as you go), or register for the session and receive a free class.  Class credit may be used any class during the current session.  Please make checks payable to instructor.

One-hour classes ….. $10 per class

1.5 hour classes ……. $15 per class

By the session:

Classes:  $108 for eight 1.5 hour classes

$75 for eight 1 hour classes
