=====================================
Classes will generally fit into these categorizations.
Gentle Yoga:
A class for those new to yoga or for those who prefer a more gentle yoga practice. Basic yoga postures (asanas) increase strength and flexibility and teach body alignment. The class teaches the benefits of the poses and a safe way to practice them. Yoga at this level is adaptable to all levels of fitness and abilities.
Low Impact Yoga:
Yoga can be modified to be a gentle, wonderfully relaxing form of exercise. This gentle class is designed for seniors and those with physical considerations. Class may be done while sitting in chairs and with other props for safety and comfort.
Open Level Yoga:
The class will be designed and adapted based upon the students in attendance that day. Students who are beginners, or who may be returning to yoga, or who are more experienced are all welcome.
Private yoga sessions are available to help design a home practice and to refine alignment techniques. A personalized CD can be made for your home practice. Massage, Reiki, Holographic Health and Ancient Ayurveda Counseling sessions available. Please contact Teji (Ruth) Dilley for more information and to schedule. (574) 876-9180 or treeoflifeyoga@comcast.net
Teji is on teaching sabbatical this summer as she starts back at IUSB in the MSW program and will return to teach in the fall. She is still available for individual and private appointments.
